Branch Lake

On Monday I was invited to go to Branch lake with friends. It was my first time going and I was a little hesitate after our Hermon Pond incident the week before
( the bugs ate us alive!) But I agreed and it turned out wonderful. It was a nice sunny day and not to hot. Our kids all played so well together and it was a lovely time.

I really love all my friends here and are thankful every day

for them!

Family Home evening

We had another FHE about Baptism. In Brad Rand's talk today during Sacrament he mentioned the Holy Ghost and how we forget to mention the gift of the Holy Ghost when discussing Baptism. So I decided to do another FHE on Baptism and thoroughly discuss the Holy Ghost.

Here are pics of the kids "Baptizing" there stuffed animal from Mcdonalds, We even said the prayer that they say before baptism ( thanks glen and amy!) ------ >

And here are a few pics on why I LOVE our kitten Kobe soooooo much!!!!

On the move again... :(

So last night our lovely landlord came to our door, we thought he was there to fix some things that were supposed to be done last month. But no.... He took Mike outside and as Mike puts it: " Politely asked us to move out"

Yep. He gave some lame excuse that it would benefit both him and us because moving out in February when our lease is up is such a hassle.

I guess we will never know the real truth on why he wants us out but our guess if the fact that we have 3 kids. I can't really think of anything else?

So we have until Sept 1st to find another place and move out.

Is this a blessing in disguise or just another bump in the road of life?? We shall see...

Bruises, Stars and stripes

This morning it was so yucky and rainy that I decided it would be nice to make some 4th of july crafts. So we made some flags and some handprints, and then some red white and blue homemade play-doh. It was a nice time and everyone got involved. Its weird thinking that tomorrow is the 4th of July already. I am so used to 100 + degree weather by now and all this rain has my brain confused.

And I just have to post a picture of Madison's black eye. Skyler hit her with a sippy cup and it must of been really hard because it bruised pretty good. Black eyes are nothing new to Madison, in fact I must have a dozen pictures of her with a shiner. She is a trooper though, always has been.

Good bye Michael Jackson... Hello Madison!

So after dinner I sent the kids upstairs so I could clean up. Mike has a complex with Skyler dressing up in Madison's dress up clothes so we have been having him pick out the stuff for her to wear and then dress her up. He seems to like doing it and she actually allows him to do it. ( For now, at least)

So about 10 mins later they come down and she looks like this ------>

I asked skyler what she was and he said the person on the magazine we got in the mail the other day. I was curious, so I had him find it to show me, and sure enough it was Michael Jackson. Skyler dressed madison up as Michael Jackson. The sad part is I can see the resemblence and she pulls it off just fine!

These moments make me love having kids!

This reminded me of one of my favorite pics I have of Madison, its actually a poorly taken picture, the lighting is bad, its blurry etc.. But all you see is Madison dressed up as a little tiny angel standing in front of a big front door while we were trick of treating last year. In my mind I remember how terribly bad behaved she was that night, but to anyone looking at this pic, they would think she was that little tiny angel she was dressed up as.
